- Thread-topic: Audible indicator when pc is working
> Is there any way to have an audible indication that the pc is working when the screen reader is suspended? The two common visible indicators that computer is not frozen completely are (1) the mouse cursor moves, perhaps erratically; and (2) the LED indicating hard disk activity (also not 100% reliable). Has anyone tried wiring the HD activity LED to a small speaker? Obviously, this is not much of an option for a laptop or other CPU with a tight case.
