- Thread-topic: 508 Live Meeting
Does anyone have any experience with Live Meeting from a 508 point of view. I think this is a case where the software should be separated from the content when tested such that the software itself needs to be accessible even though the content may or may not be so. For example, when I go to a regular meeting and there is PowerPoint being displayed, I obviously don't want to hear the power Point being read as I want to hear the presenter who will hopefully read the slides or provide them in an alternative format. So, if I am looking at something in LIVE Meeting, should one apply the same level of access as one would to a truly live meeting? In other words, how does one test to ensure that the on-line live meeting is held to the same standard of accessibility as a real live meeting without placing unfair demands on an inherently visual environment. Any thoughts welcome. Don Barrett
