As Kelly's already alluded to, getting sighted assistance is not a suitable mitigation strategy, per 508 law. 508 allows for "equivalent facilitation", but that equivalent facilitation must be technical in nature - i.e. the classic text-only page or alternative, text-based navigation when the main navigation is something like Flash or JavaScript. Requiring a third party to do a task for you negates the purpose of 508 altogether.
