RE: [SEC508] Flash Games test

Well, I tried both examples with Jaws twice and Jaws failed miserably.
Given that their damn DOM support is so new, I guess we can cut them
some slack although they should work with 508-compliant Flash.

I tried both with Window Eyes and had instant success. I liked example
1.2 the best because of the applause at the end. Also, the sounds for
success and failure were much better as the Windows error sound in
Example 1.1 made me think I had crashed my browser when in fact it was
the program telling me I had picked an incorrect letter. Poor use of
error sound here.

I vote for 1.2;

With both examples, I waited forever for them to start and the status
line kept saying one item remaining; I had to hit f5 to refresh to get a
good clean download both times.

I suspect the Jaws support is easily fixable; at least I hope so.

Subject: [SEC508] Flash Games test

Hi,
Net Systems Solutions (http://www.n-syst.com) has created a couple of
versions of a Flash game. I'm interested in gathering some opinions
about which version people prefer, and why. I'll share any results from
this non-scientific study -- the general idea behind this is that rich
internet applications are challenging to make accessible, in part
because we need better information about what screen reader and keyboard
users prefer.

Example 1.1: http://www.n-syst.com/hangman1.htm
Example 1.2: http://www.n-syst.com/Hangman2.html

I wrote this up on Adobe's Accessibility Blog - feel free to send
