Hello all,
I have a question about data tables. I am aware that we can
properly markup a table by using certain attributes (i.e. id, headers,
axis, scope, etc.), but what I need to do is use these attributes in
conjunction with a hidden piece of text. That is, link each data cell
up with a table header that is for instance, an abbreviation tag (abbr),
with only a title attribute as text. This will not have any text
displayed on the screen to the user, thus hiding the header from the
sighted, and present it to the users of AT. The reason for this
approach is to avoid redesigning a page that contains the headers in a
background image as of now. Any insight you can provide with this
matter would be greatly appreciated....
Regards,
Chad
