I do not disagree with you.  In fact,  with the Web Accessibility
Initiative, the W3C is developing accessibility guidelines and techniques
for end user applications that don't even exist yet.  For once, the
community will have solutions in place and ready to go when the "standard"
technology catches up.  This is perhaps the best example I have ever
encountered of not leaving persons with disabilities behind.

As to the system integrator database, I really hope with all my heart that
it can be made to work.  I look forward to following (and participating in)
Steve Jacob's newly struck subcommittee on this issue.
