Description of Figure 3: Current Design of Tablet Voting Machine that allows use by mainstream voters and most people with disabilities
The tablet voting machine prototype includes a 12 inch vertical touchscreen with 2 buttons below and 4 to the right side of the touchscreen. Two large yellow arrow shaped buttons below the screen allow the user to move back and forth between races. They are labeled "page back" and "next page ". To the right of the touchscreen are two white buttons with the word "zoom" printed above them. The top button shows a magnifying glass over a letter "A" to indicate enlarged text and the bottom button includes a smaller letter "A" to indicate smaller text. Below the zoom buttons, a green diamond shaped button with a white outline shows the word "help" with a question mark. At the bottom right corner of the device is a red button with the word "end" printed on it. On the screen, the text reads, "Ballot Page 1 of 6. President and Vice President of the United States. Vote for One." Five candidates are available to choose from followed by a sixth choice, which is a write-in blank.
